Death, one of my favorite characters. I particularly like when hourglasses are part of his motif somehow, like this shirt I have or sort of like in Terry Pratchet's "Discworld" series. The hourglass in this piece represents Death himself, the sand coming out of the bottom then swirling back up to the top in a never-ending cycle. The blade of the scythe & the blood-drop turning to sand just seemed like a cool idea.
Done with Letraset Tria alcohol markers.
