Just A Little Re-Draculaing

 Pfft, that was awful! Sorry! (Not sorry.)

Anyway, I've been doing a little re-vamping of my store on Zazzle. 

1st off, I've been stream-lining my collections. They're gonna be more specific on what items go into them: single product with all of my designs, a single design on themed products, or similar designs on themed products.

This'll help keep each collection smaller & easier to consume for, well, consumers. (Except for that 3rd one maybe. But if it starts looking too full, I'll streamline it further.)

2nd thing is that I'm gonna make ALL of my products customizable. You'll be able to change the background, add text (even if I don't), or add your own image. It'll give each item that nice little you-ness.

You just gotta click on the "Edit this design" button.

 

Customization opens options for kool backgrounds like this black marble, which I can't use on items I post for sale.

 

Add text.

 

There's also these other options so you can add borders (as demonstrated), shapes, & more.

 

When you're all done w/ the design, choose your product options (e.g., size, shape).

 

Then review & add to your cart.

Now then, to make past products customizable, I'll have to delete the old & create/post new. It's gonna be a long process (I'll still try to post new stuff along the way). Also, I'm not going to change all the links on my old posts here. I'll probably just archive 'em or something & post new ones, including "pic bios."

Updates

I recently went through all of my products & updated some. It started with the fleece blankets, where most of the images would have ended up blurry on the larger ones. So then I just had to check everything else. Not all of the ones I updated were size related. Like the wine charms or the mugs, which had to do with the images not adjusting between the different options available satisfactorily.

Anywho, I've updated all the links to the updated products on all of the relevant blog posts. Now I can get back to posting new stuff. Yay!

Meow, mortals. So, this little post is about why it may seem like I doubled posted some holiday items on boosk-isms. It's because I use 2 different spellings for the holiday name (always noted in the product title): Chrismas & Christmas. 

Why? Because I don't celebrate it as Christ's birthday, so I took out the 'T'. I got the idea a couple years ago, near the beginning of the memes on facebook cropping up that said "Keep the Christ in Christmas", usually with the the 'T' highlighted as a cross. Simple reversal for my beliefs.

Yes, I am a Christian, and of course everyone else is entitled to celebrate as they choose, which is why I put product options with both spellings up. I may even do some Christian themed Christmas stuff sometime. I love crosses, and snow-covered churches are rather beautiful. Meow

After barely being able to get on my other blog (which took me awhile to find), getting a 'Bad Gateway' error warning the majority of the time, I finally decided to try out Google Chrome. I know, should've done that to begin with, but eh, whatever. Anyway, the other site still isn't working, but check it out:

Apparel info update

First, sorry it's been awhile, but I've been trying to update the info I have on all the dif Zazzle products. I finished going thru the apparel, & that's about it. Yeah, gonna take awhile. But anyway, now for the main reason for this post . . .

When I first started, there were only around 30-some styles of apparel, I think. Now there's 92, so everything that I've put on apparel is now on more styles than I originally posted here.  But since I don't feel like going thru them all to update the number, from now on I'll just put "various styles" down instead.

So there you go, meow. I'll be posting new products soon, hopefully.

Welcome mortalz

This is my blog for my store - boosk-isms on Zazzle

I started in early 2011, but didn't get serious about it until early 2012. I finally got down to doing the homework, perfecting the pics I already had, then uploading & posting some products. And now I'm ready to start the tedious job of advertising.

First, the store itself. I called it boosk-isms because my nickname is Booska, has been since I was a baby. It stuck, for the rest of my life, & I'm proud of it. It is now my 'artist name' Speaking of art, that pic up there, that's my store's logo/banner. Done with Derwent Coloursoft pencils. I'll be posting products featuring original ideas (of course), as well as artwork I create for my brother's books - 'Path of a Hero' & 'Hero's Path: Five Year Pilgrimage - book 1- Chi' (& anymore books he writes)

As for my products, my next few posts will be about them, listing the particular products for each pic that I have up so far - I haven't even scratched the surface of what all I can make, there are tons of stuff! Anyway, then I'll post whenever I put something new up on Booskisms.
